Camp Details
Chrysalis Circle supports Middle and High School girls with this six-day program that guides them on a journey to discover and connect to their core being, find their authentic voice, gain confidence, and grow their mind-body-spirit connection.
Combining exciting adventures in nature with interpersonal skills for communication, finding their values, and using their voice, girls gain self-confidence and self-awareness that builds the four pillars of Chrysalis: Strength, Courage, Confidence, and Resilience.

Each day integrates activities in nature, creative arts, personal awareness, deep earth connection, leadership and communication skills, and time for introspection. Kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, outdoor skills, inner awareness, communication, and mindfulness are a few of the activities designed to give girls lifelong tools, help them embrace their passage into womanhood, and understand their power and connection to all of life on earth.
At Chrysalis girls can express their creativity, talents, gifts, and interests through skits, dance, song, nature crafts, and spontaneous inspiration. Our Nature sanctuary provides a safe, nurturing space for girls to share, and ask questions in a trusting, confidential container.
Girls learn communication skills through the art of deep listening and sharing Council. They develop their emotional IQ through powerful life tools and gentle understanding. Girls are guided to create strategies for dealing with pressure and stress. They discover their personal values, learn to set boundaries, and how to communicate using Non-Violent Communication.
Throughout the week, the program grows girls’ leadership skills, building on the themes of fostering Strength, Courage, Confidence, and Resilience. One overnight on the final day of camp provides the opportunity to learn about creating Council and Ritual.
The girls help create the final ceremony celebrating their personal growth and the bonds they’ve formed during the week. That night they sleep in tents or under the stars, and together, they cook and clean up, then share stories and drumming around a campfire they build.
Girls leave Chrysalis with new friends, potent interpersonal tools, a deeper understanding of their strengths, and the confidence to take the next step in their journey toward womanhood.

Investment in your daughter’s empowerment: $550 when registered and paid by April 1, then $575.
This program provides a unique opportunity for girls to gain the tools they need to become confident from the inside out, and embrace their passage into womanhood. Ceremonies in nature, rites of passage and continued mentoring are part of our commitment to Chrysalis Girls and the extended value of this program!

Testimonials
Chrysalis helped me so much especially as life started to get hard. I used the skills and techniques I learned at Chrysalis to help me manage stress, anxiety, and adversity. At Chrysalis I got to learn so much about myself as well. I explored my love of nature and wildlife, I grew my sense of adventure, and I found that I was not as alone as I felt. Chrysalis made me feel seen and more confident in myself and in my emotions. I learned to not let fear take me over even in stressful situations.
“I completed the Chrysalis program when I was 15 and consider it a critical part of my growth into young adulthood. Every day was full of diverse and engaging experiences – Hiking excursions fueled my sense of adventure while sweat lodges and genuine mud masks taught me about self care and connection. I am still in contact with some of the girls from my cohort close to 15 years later and would highly recommend to any tweens or teens ready to come into their own!”
I learned so much during Chrysalis about myself and what I am capable of. I had never tried rock climbing, but after learning I was brave enough to try it at camp, I joined a rock climbing club! I loved every moment of my experience at Chrysalis and I count down the days till I can participate again.
